Remodeling Your Granite Kitchen

Remodeling a granite kitchen is something that most of us are compelled to believe difficult but with good planning and an organized approach it’s not just easy but affordable too.

Since the plan is to outplay the beauty of your granite countertops, color palettes for walls and cabinetry must be toned down or chosen to cohesively complement your home decor.

Cover all surfaces and appliances and begin by painting the ceiling. That done finish the walls and add recessed light fixtures as focused lighting bounces off the granite very strongly. Also make any changes in electrical wiring at this point itself. For instance you may want to move appliances from one area into a new place.

Next, clear out cabinets and polish or paint them. This is also the best time to make any pending repairs to existing cabinetry.

Add elements of interest and finally replace your kitchen sink faucet.
